It has been some 18 months since Kelly Menhennett joined us as Life Care’s first-ever musician in residence, so we thought it was time we caught up with the star songstress.
Kelly says her music helps lift everyone’s spirits and brings the residents a lot of joy.
“I was lucky that I found my people with Life Care and that we were both on the same page in terms of wanting to do more with music in aged care,” Kelly says in this video, after she finished singing and playing her guitar to an audience of more than 20 residents, many of whom sang, danced and played their own instruments as they enjoyed her performance.
