Community Care

At Life Care we understand that many people want to stay in their own homes for as long as possible as they age, to maintain contact with their regular environment and community.

Sometimes, however, people need a little help to continue their normal lifestyles. 

Our Community Care services include 'Community Aged Care Packages' and 'Extended Aged Care at Home' packages in which highly trained and skilled staff members provide care, support and advice in the homes of clients.

To help older people maintain their health and mobility, and to prevent falls or injury at home, we feature a range of educational programs presented by trained professionals at our 'Community Lifestyle Centre' - Payneham.

In addition, 'Norman House' at Everard Park provides a unique form of respite care and includes 'Short Breaks for Carers' - we welcome people with dementia - here carers from around South Australia can leave their loved ones in a quality, safe, secure, homely environment with trained staff while they take a much-needed break from their regular caring roles.
